We are seeking a skilled
Assembly Technician
to support the build and assembly of precision robotic equipment .This role involves assembling mechanical
**subassemblies
**and complete robotic systems while ensuring high quality, safety, and productivity standards.

Location: Auburn Hills, MI
Shift: 1st and 2nd
Assembly & Production
- Assemble mechanical subassemblies such as turrets, arms, wrists, robots, and rail systems
- Install cabling, cable carriers, and related components
- Follow engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing standards
- Complete assigned production schedules and work orders
Quality & Documentation
- Ensure all assemblies meet quality and workmanship standards
- Verify test results and ensure documentation is accurate and complete
- Follow control plans and quality procedures
Tools & Equipment
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Maintain and properly care for tools and equipment
Safety & Workplace Standards
- Follow all safety procedures (LOTO, PPE, HAZMAT, etc.)
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace using 5S principles
Systems & Reporting
- Use ERP systems to complete work orders and track production activities
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–5 years of experience in:
- Mechanical assembly
- Manufacturing or production
- Automotive, construction, maintenance, or similar technical roles
- Technical training or certifications in mechanical or manufacturing fields preferred
- Experience with fixtures, jigs, or ISO 9001 environments is a plus
