Description

Assemble product in a safe manner according to verbal instruction, written procedures, and company quality standards while working to eliminate waste, increase efficiency, and improve processes.

Qualifications

High School or equivalent
6 months to 1 year assembly experience preferred
Reads and understands work instructions, bills of materials and drawings
Willing to learn product knowledge and understanding of processes of assigned work area
Willing to learn the function of each piece of operating equipment in assigned area, able to operate each and perform required Preventative Maintenance tasks
Works toward improving skills through cross-training with other areas
Able to problem solve as part of a team and individually
Able to collect information and act promptly based upon good judgment in the best interest of the customer and the company to meet changing conditions
Flexible and adaptable in a fast changing work environment
Able to follow through with plans and processes
Excellent attitude and willing to work as part of a team
Self-directed and resourceful in performing job duties
Dependable and motivated
Able to communicate effectively through oral and written means in order to share information with team, department, and other departments as needed
