Description

Assemble product in a safe manner according to verbal instruction, written procedures, and company quality standards while working to eliminate waste, increase efficiency, and improve processes.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent
• 6 months to 1 year assembly experience preferred
• Reads and understands work instructions, bills of materials and drawings
• Willing to learn product knowledge and understanding of processes of assigned work area
• Willing to learn the function of each piece of operating equipment in assigned area, able to operate each and perform required Preventative Maintenance tasks
• Works toward improving skills through cross-training with other areas
• Able to problem solve as part of a team and individually
• Able to collect information and act promptly based upon good judgment in the best interest of the customer and the company to meet changing conditions
• Flexible and adaptable in a fast changing work environment
• Able to follow through with plans and processes
• Excellent attitude and willing to work as part of a team
• Self-directed and resourceful in performing job duties
• Dependable and motivated
• Able to communicate effectively through oral and written means in order to share information with team, department, and other departments as needed
