This is an Assembly Team Leader role in the frames department with a high-volume automotive manufacturing facility here in Bowling Green. They’re really looking for someone who has solid hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment and can step up to direct, support, and keep an assembly team running safely and efficiently. The person in this role would be responsible for leading daily pre-shift Tier 1 meetings, managing line flow, and driving zero-injury safety protocols and 5S standards on the floor. You’d also be heavily involved with quality response, using Andon procedures, troubleshooting robotic weld cells like changing tips or wire spools, and doing standardized work observations. So, they’re looking for someone who’s comfortable leading frontline operators, understands quality and lean practices like TWI and 5S, and isn't afraid to step in and help out on the line when needed to keep production moving.
