Assembly & Packaging Technicians

Location: Oconomowoc, WI 53066

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (overtime may be required, including occasional Saturdays)

Compensation: $18 - $19.75/hour (BoE)

• Double-time pay on Saturdays after 50 hours worked

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to build electronic and mechanical products according to blueprints and specifications. This role involves using assembly fixtures, hand tools, and power bench tools in a clean, modern production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic and mechanical components using blueprints and work instructions
• Utilize assembly fixtures and hand/power bench tools safely and efficiently
• Ensure accuracy and quality of assembled products
• Perform basic computer tasks using Microsoft Excel and Word
• Assist with material handling, packing, and shipping as needed
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, walk-behind power lifts, and overhead hoists
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

Working Environment & Physical Requirements

• Work is performed in a clean, air-conditioned production facility

• Regular standing, bending, kneeling, twisting, and reaching overhead

• Ability to lift:- Up to 30 lbs routinely

  • 31–50 lbs occasionally
  • Over 50 lbs occasionally with assistance

• Use of hands for precise manipulation of tools, wires, and components

• Climbing ladders occasionally (regularly for shipping duties)

• Ability to safely work at heights (up to 14 feet) during product testing

• Operation of powered equipment and lifting devices
