Job Description

Objectives

• Responsible for the safe operation of various assembly machines.
• Operates to ensure effective utilization of machines to maintain production requirements, quality standards and continuously improve the process.
• Produce quality parts, on time, in the quantities defined by the production schedule.

Principle Duties

• Interpret machine prints and product dimension specifications for production.
• Complete in-process quality checks with gauges and related quality equipment.
• Performs set-up, by determining tooling and wire required, and operates various assembly machines as needed.
• Performs preventive maintenance as required.
• Properly fill out production reports and other required forms.
• Record production transactions including inspections in SAP.
• Any other task as directed by supervisor or manager.
