A well-established steel manufacturing facility is seeking a mechanically inclined Assembly Helper to support its 1st shift operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, learning new skills, and contributing to a team-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the mechanical assembly of steel components and equipment
Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices to support assembly tasks
Follow instructions from lead assemblers and supervisors to complete projects accurately
Help position, align, and secure parts using bolts, clamps, and other fasteners
Perform basic material handling and staging of parts for assembly
Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety standards
Support other departments as needed to meet production goals

Qualifications

Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn assembly processes
Experience using basic hand and power tools (wrenches, drills, grinders, etc.)
Ability to read and follow simple diagrams or instructions
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift
Team player with a positive attitude and good communication skills
