Responsibilities:

Applying precision masking materials such as tapes, plugs and other masking devices to parts to ensure they remain free of powder coating
Inspecting parts before and after to ensure they are correct and there is no damage to the parts
Preparing and organizing masking materials, making sure the correct tools are available and in good working condition
Following company safety procedures including the proper handling of chemicals, tools and equipment
Maintain accurate records including the materials used, inspection results and if any adjustments were made

Qualifications:

Previous experience in manufacturing, powder coating is preferred
Experience in precision masking or similar would be a plus
Knowledge of safety standards in manufacturing environment such as handling chemicals and operating machines safely
Familiar with various masking materials and tools would be a plus
Good attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Hours

Would be training on the first shift Monday through Friday – 7am to 3:30pm

Once fully trained will be on second shift – Monday through Thursday – 4pm to 2:30am

Overtime opportunity on Fridays when on second shift

The pay is up to $23.00 an hour
