Responsibilities:
- Applying precision masking materials such as tapes, plugs and other masking devices to parts to ensure they remain free of powder coating
- Inspecting parts before and after to ensure they are correct and there is no damage to the parts
- Preparing and organizing masking materials, making sure the correct tools are available and in good working condition
- Following company safety procedures including the proper handling of chemicals, tools and equipment
- Maintain accurate records including the materials used, inspection results and if any adjustments were made
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in manufacturing, powder coating is preferred
- Experience in precision masking or similar would be a plus
- Knowledge of safety standards in manufacturing environment such as handling chemicals and operating machines safely
- Familiar with various masking materials and tools would be a plus
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Hours
Would be training on the first shift Monday through Friday – 7am to 3:30pm
Once fully trained will be on second shift – Monday through Thursday – 4pm to 2:30am
Overtime opportunity on Fridays when on second shift
The pay is up to $23.00 an hour
