Job Summary:
The Assembly & Test Technician is responsible for testing and assembly of electronic products. The role involves working with circuit boards and PCs used for testing in a manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assemble components, subassemblies, and finished products according to work instructions, blueprints, and Schematics Packaging.
  • Perform functional, electrical, mechanical, and/or performance testing on assembled units.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, measurement instrument
  • Interpret work instructions.
  • Document test results via shop orders and ERP system.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Report on production issues to the Manufacturing Supervisor.

Qualification and Skills:

  • Familiarity with ESD procedures
  • Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation (ERP systems).
  • Understanding of quality control processes.
  • Soldering skills through hole and surface mount.
  • Use of Digital multimeters (DMM)

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Proven experience in electronic testing and assembly (1–3+ years preferred)
  • Ability to read work instructions and bill of materials.
  • Proficiency with electronic test equipment
  • Good manual dexterity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions and Key Competencies:

  • Manufacturing and Warehouse
  • May require standing for extended periods.
  • Handling small electronic components.
  • Standard business hours: occasional overtime during peak seasons as required, which may require weekends with short notice.
  • May be required to assist in other departments as needed.
  • The ability to lift to 50 lbs.
  • Able to kneel and bend.
