Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assembler to join our production team. This position is responsible for reading packing lists and assembly drawings to accurately assemble, inspect, and package customer orders. The ideal candidate will have strong hand dexterity, the ability to follow detailed instructions, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret packing lists, assembly drawings, parts lists, and work instructions.
  • Assemble products and subassemblies according to established procedures and specifications.
  • Examine connections and components to ensure proper fit and alignment.
  • Fasten parts and complete assemblies accurately and efficiently.
  • Package completed orders according to customer and company requirements.
  • Perform quality checks to identify defects, missing components, or assembly errors.
  • Report quality, equipment, material, or process issues to the Team Leader.
  • Assist in training coworkers on assembly procedures and job functions as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Team Leader, Production Supervisor, or Manager.

Qualifications

  • Previous assembly, manufacturing, production, or warehouse experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand assembly drawings, work instructions, and packing lists.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Physical Requirements

  • Manual dexterity and good eyesight required to assemble products accurately.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the work shift.
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
