WHAT YOU’LL DO

You’re focused on producing high-quality products with patience and a willingness to handle and complete one task at a time. You’re willing to learn through established procedures and guidelines how to assemble electrical cable harnesses and perform electrical testing. 

  • Assemble a variety of wiring harnesses
  • Perform required electrical testing of wiring harnesses and other specified components (control modules, solenoids, etc.) 
  • Capable of using a variety of hand tools required for wire harness assembly, including crimping
  • Capable of reading and adjusting test equipment required for monitoring each assembled unit
  • Able to troubleshoot failures of assemblies and testing equipment
  • Able to read electrical drawings for assembly
  • Adhere to all safety rules and regulations
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures


YOUR EXPERIENCES & SKILLS

  • Good mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Able to read and interpret written instructions
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Must be familiar with crimp and termination techniques of wires to connectors
  • Experience with military and/or aerospace standards is a plus
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed
  • Flexibility to effectively adapt to changing conditions and job assignments

DEPARTMENT: Distribution


WORK ENVIRONMENT: Manufacturing/Warehouse


REPORTS TO: Electrical Designer and Operations Supervisor


SHIFT TYPE: Monday–Friday (5-8s)


WORKPLACE ARRANGEMENT: On-site


SUPERVISES: No 


SALARY GRADE: 10
