Description
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Assembler with a background in construction to join our dynamic team. The Senior Assembler will be responsible for assembling complex products, ensuring quality standards are met, and mentoring junior assemblers. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a keen eye for detail. Experience in blueprint reading and house framing is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly Operations:
- Assemble complex products according to detailed specifications and blueprints.
- Utilize various hand tools, power tools, and machinery to perform assembly tasks.
- Ensure all assembled products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Quality Control:
- Conduct inspections and tests on assembled products to verify quality and functionality.
- Identify and resolve any assembly or quality issues promptly.
- Maintain detailed records of assembly and inspection processes.
- Technical Support:
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior assemblers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the assembly process.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve assembly processes and product designs.
- Process Improvement:
- Suggest and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize assembly processes.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in assembly techniques.
- Training and Mentorship:
- Train and mentor junior assemblers, ensuring they understand assembly processes, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages teamwork and continuous learning.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in assembly or construction roles, with at least 1 year in a senior or lead position. Experience in blueprint reading and house framing is highly preferred.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and assembly machinery.
- Strong understanding of assembly processes, quality control, and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
