Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assembler Tester I to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for basic assembly and testing of products and components while following established manufacturing procedures and quality standards. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable using hand and power tools, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform basic assembly of parts and products according to manufacturing instructions and bills of material.
• Review daily work orders and production requirements using an ERP system.
• Maintain the materials and components needed to complete production orders.
• Operate basic production equipment and common hand and pneumatic tools.
• Perform standard testing after assembly to ensure products meet specifications, tolerances, and quality requirements.
• Rotate between workstations as production needs require.
• Inspect completed work for accuracy, quality, and safety.
• Move materials throughout the production area using proper equipment and safety procedures.
• Meet daily production goals while maintaining accuracy and quality.
• Visually inspect parts for defects and report quality issues to the Team Lead or Supervisor.
• Enter completed work and production information into the ERP system.
• Maintain accurate daily production records.
• Identify and report faulty equipment, defective materials, improper operations, or unusual conditions.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Attend and participate in safety meetings and follow all required safety procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience preferred; as little as 3 months of experience may be considered.
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete data entry.
• Ability to learn and follow manufacturing procedures and instructions.
• Comfortable working with hand tools and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work in a repetitive, fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent lifting and movement.
• Ability to push, pull, lift, and move materials weighing up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to safely utilize hoists for materials weighing more than 30 lbs.

Work Environment

• Primarily based on a manufacturing and production floor.

• This is an on-site position requiring employees to report to the facility each workday.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, movement, and repetitive tasks.
