Description
Responsibilities
- General and advanced work in the building process of custom cabinetmaking and architectural millwork
- Set-up and safe operation of woodworking tools and machinery
- Providing support to team to meet project deadline
- Maintaining a safe working environment
- Preparing work to enter the finish area when needed
- Shift schedule is full-time, Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. with occasional overtime hours
Requirements
Qualifications/Skills
- High school diploma/GED
- Minimum 5 yrs. hands-on experience in a millwork shop
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Work independently, as well as, part of a team
- Follow verbal and written instructions
- Have a positive attitude and a good work ethic
Physical Demands (Ability to perform the functions of the job with or without the use of an Accommodation.)
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Stand for extended periods of time
- Conduct repetitive motion tasks
- Work in an environment where levels of dust and noise are relative to a woodworking shop of 30 people.
Specialized Knowledge
- Advance knowledge of cabinetmaking, custom woodworking, architectural millwork manufacturing
- Blueprint reading,
- Machine set-up and operation for the fabrication of highly intricate and unique products.
- Experience working with solid surface material is a plus
- Experience in Form building a plus
Abilities
- Able to construct a variety of architectural fixtures within a 1/32”.
- Make common sense decisions
- Work independently, as well as, part of a team
- Follow instructions
Professional Certification
