Responsibilities

• General and advanced work in the building process of custom cabinetmaking and architectural millwork
• Set-up and safe operation of woodworking tools and machinery
• Providing support to team to meet project deadline
• Maintaining a safe working environment
• Preparing work to enter the finish area when needed
• Shift schedule is full-time, Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. with occasional overtime hours

Requirements

Qualifications/Skills

• High school diploma/GED
• Minimum 5 yrs. hands-on experience in a millwork shop
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Work independently, as well as, part of a team
• Follow verbal and written instructions
• Have a positive attitude and a good work ethic

Physical Demands (Ability to perform the functions of the job with or without the use of an Accommodation.)

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Stand for extended periods of time
• Conduct repetitive motion tasks
• Work in an environment where levels of dust and noise are relative to a woodworking shop of 30 people.                           

Specialized Knowledge              

•  Advance knowledge of cabinetmaking, custom woodworking, architectural millwork manufacturing
•  Blueprint reading,
•  Machine set-up and operation for the fabrication of highly intricate and unique products.
•  Experience working with solid surface material is a plus
•  Experience in Form building a plus

  Abilities                                             

• Able to construct a variety of architectural fixtures within a 1/32”.
• Make common sense decisions
• Work independently, as well as, part of a team
• Follow instructions

Professional Certification                       

• OSHA 10 hour
