The Role
The Assembler II is a hands-on production role responsible for performing mechanical, optical, electrical, and electronic assembly of complex products in accordance with documented work instructions and quality standards. This position supports the Production Team by ensuring assemblies are built accurately, efficiently, and safely, contributing directly to on-time delivery and product reliability. The Assembler II works collaboratively with cross-functional teams, follows established processes, identifies quality issues, and participates in continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
Job Responsibilities
Utilize standard assembly aids as identified on work instructions, clean, assemble and install mechanical and optical and electrical/electronic assemblies.
Install wiring harnesses following schematics.
Identify components by standard RETMA color and numerical coding.
Solder thru-hole components to IPC-610 standards and harness and wire assemblies to IPC-620 standards.
Perform routine material handling activities and provides inventory cycle count information.
Identify, segregate, and provide disposition recommendations for non-conforming material.
Understand and meet quality system requirements.
Maintain quality documents to ensure process flow and process control.
Follow policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
Continuously evaluate processes for improvements in efficiency, quality, and safety

Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
Six months of related experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to use general manufacturing assembly tools, soldering irons, multi-meters and continuity testers.
Able to read and follow written, graphic and pictorial work instructions.
Must be computer literate and comfortable with Microsoft Office suite.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This role primarily operates in an office/lab/manufacturing environment. Must be able to sit, stand, and use a computer for extended periods of time
Lifting of up to 25 lbs. several times per day may be required

Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $22.50 per hour
Our compensation philosophy: we offer competitive pay based on market data, including local, national, and industry benchmarks. For new hires, offers are generally within the established min- to mid-point of the range for the role, with flexibility to recognize experience, skills, and education.
