Job Description
*This position is for 2nd Shift Weekdays (Mon-Thurs). The selected candidate will be entitled to a 10% shift differential.BAE Systems is seeking candidates with electronic assembly experience with a focus on circuit card assembly and inspection.
Successful candidates for this position must be proven strong communicators (both written and verbal.) The successful candidate will strictly adhere to all company policys, be driven by safety, Quality, and ensuring the company delivers to the customer on time. The successful candidate will integrate with the manufacturing team on a daily basis to achieve operational goals. Primary tasks will be to perform a variety of circuit card assembly tasks such as: Assemble/inspect electronic components, assemblies, subassemblies, according to specific written instructions, diagrams, routing instructions and process sheets. Use appropriate tooling and machinery as provided. Verify and inspect products to ensure conformance with requirements and perform rework as needed.
Support area cross-training efforts, participate in and support continuous improvement activities, perform other duties and responsibilities as required.

Required Skills and Education
- High School diploma or GED
- Assembly experience in manufacturing environment.
- Inspection Experience
- Written and verbal communication skills are essential in this role.
Preferred Skills and Education
- Circuit card manufacturing, understand how to identify electronic components and properly orient them into a circuit board according to polarity
- Follow written instructions, interpret assembly drawings, work independently, and use clear written or oral communication to share information with team members, support staff, and management.
- Be familiar with and use Microsoft Office suite applications and most other essential functions of a computer.
- Working knowledge of ORACLE and Factory Logix (FLX)
- Able to interpret and understand the instructions on process sheets, prints or route cards.
- AOI Experience.
- IPA ( in process inspection) Experience.
Typical Education and Experience
Typically a High School Diploma and 1 year work experience or equivalent experience
