About the Role:
Perform balance operations and/or assemble and disassemble of various gear boxes and sub-assemblies, accessory units, and driven equipment.
What You Will Do:
Setup parts on balance machine
Run program and remove material necessary to bring in tolerance
Assemble a variety of gearboxes
Use different hand tools including hydraulic and pneumatic
Utilize working knowledge of turbomachinery products
Operational blueprints and written instructions for dissemble or rebuilding of gearboxes
Minimum Requirements:
Highschool diploma or GED
1-2 years of work experience in gearbox assembly or balance

Summary Pay Range:
$23.53 - $35.29Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
