Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assembler/Fabricator to join our Operations team. In this role, you will assemble industrial equipment and subassemblies, fabricate metal structures and baseplates, interpret blueprints, and ensure high-quality finished products. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with mechanical assembly and fabrication experience who enjoy hands-on work in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and engineering drawings.
- Assemble pumps, machinery, and mechanical subassemblies.
- Fabricate metal components by cutting, welding, drilling, grinding, and fitting materials.
- Align gears, couplings, and assemblies to precise tolerances.
- Troubleshoot mechanical assemblies and perform product testing.
- Safely operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and hand/power tools.
- Assist with in-house service, equipment maintenance, trade show preparation, and special projects.
- Maintain quality standards and follow OSHA and company safety procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 3–5 years of assembly, fabrication, manufacturing, or related experience preferred.
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow written instructions.
- Experience with machine tools, hand tools, and mechanical assembly.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and work with machinery in a manufacturing environment.
