Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Assembler with calibration experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling parts and raw materials to form complete units or sub-assemblies utilizing lean methods, standard work, quality documents, and on-the-job training.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

· Ensure all skills are utilized to produce a defect-free product and solve problems within takt time

· Use hand tools, light power tools, and special equipment to perform assigned assembly operations; follow verbal or written instructions, technical drawings, catalog information, or quality documents

· Ensure the quality of all items produced and maintain proper documentation of defects

· Follow work instructions and training guides

· Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area

· Perform basic cleaning and preventive maintenance checks of equipment as required

· Make recommendations and assist in implementing production process improvements

· Cross-train within assigned product group and rotate assignments as planned

· Perform daily safety checks on assigned equipment

· Follow safety rules and wear required personal protective equipment

· Identify workflow problems and notify the support team as they occur

· Perform other related duties as needed

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

Experience with Calibration is a must

Soldering experience a plus

· Ability to support production goals

· Sufficient visual ability to identify and sort by specifications

· Ability to stand and perform job duties throughout the shift

· Good hand-to-eye coordination and dexterity

· Ability to perform repetitive operations

· Proficiency in reading a tape measure

· Ability to read and understand English

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively in a team environment

· Ability to give and receive constructive feedback

· Proficiency in applying lean tools

· Strong problem-solving skills

· Willingness to continually learn and develop job-related skills

Education and Experience Requirements:

· High school diploma or GED equivalent

· Required experience or abilities to fulfill responsibilities
