We are looking for an Assembler to join our Greenwood, IN facility on a 2nd shift schedule. You will assemble and inspect products prior to delivery. If you are interested, please apply on our career page or via email to [email protected]

Job Scope:

What You’ll Do:

· Assembles assigned product parts on assembly line in accordance with established procedures, standards and blueprint production

· Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners

· Disassembles, re-works or salvages scrap parts

· Operates drill presses, hand drills, clicker press or riveting machines to assist in assembly operation

· May operate forklift upon completing certification requirements

· Performs spot checks of products to ensure adherence to approved quality standards; Removes small quantities of metal to produce a smooth finish

· Inspects product for quality defects including but not limited to: missing brackets, damaged brackets, incorrect artwork, screw gauges, etc.

What You’ll Need:

· High School diploma or equivalent preferred

· 1-3 months related experience and/or training

· Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

· Mathematical skills to manage units of measure, fractions, decimals, whole numbers

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and operations sheets to determine set-up and operations to be formed

· Ability to set-up and operate a Rivet Machine; input and maintain data in Traverse Manufacturing System

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
