**Job Title: *Assembler II*

Location:** Plymouth, MN 55447

Duration: 6-Month Contract

Shift: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (30-minute lunch)

**Pay Rate: *$17.00 - $19.00/Hr. On W2*

Overtime:** Available after 2:30 PM as needed

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler II to join our manufacturing team in Plymouth, MN. In this role, you will perform repetitive mechanical and electrical assembly tasks requiring precision, dexterity, and attention to quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and previous manufacturing or assembly experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and test mechanical and electrical components according to work instructions and quality standards.
• Follow assembly procedures, including color coding, PVC thermal welding, thread taping, and other standard manufacturing processes.
• Use hand tools, power tools, jigs, and fixtures to complete assembly tasks.
• Read and interpret simple assembly drawings, layouts, and work instructions.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following 5S and continuous improvement practices.
• Adhere to all workplace safety policies and quality standards.
• Meet production goals while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Support internal and external customer expectations through consistent performance.

Qualifications

Required Education

• High School Diploma or GED.

Required Experience

• 3–5 years of mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude demonstrated through work experience, technical training, or hands-on hobbies.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read and understand basic assembly drawings and instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift.

• Frequently walk, write, and use a computer.

• Lift and carry up to 30 lbs.

• Occasionally bend, reach, push, pull, and climb stairs.

• Work in manufacturing environments with varying temperatures (0°F to 120°F), dust, noise, and concrete flooring.

• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hearing protection when necessary.
