 We are looking for you to join our team as an Assembler 2 working in Marlborough, MA.  As an Assembler 2, you will work to interpret assembly procedures, assembly drawings, mechanical drawings and part lists to assemble products adhering to Best Manufacturing Practices while also acting as an Ambassador for our Space Program and Projects. 

JOB SUMMARY: An Assembler 2 has the ability to interpret assembly procedures, assembly drawings, mechanical drawings and part lists to assemble products adhering to Best Manufacturing Practices.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties

• Able to use basic electronic measurement devices, typical manufacturing tools, assembly fixtures and hand tools
• Build and test basic products to specifications while meeting established quality guidelines
• Properly use tools and fixtures to prevent damage/scrap of parts and production down time
• Complete assigned jobs per established budget
• Ability to wire bond/solder
• Complete administrative tasks including but not limited to copying, scanning, typing and filing operations, maintaining various logs to track items and information as required for the optimum support of the business area as assigned by supervisors.
• Act as an Ambassador of APITech and its products and projects by engaging with internal and external stakeholders and with existing and potential customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education:  High School or Equivalent
• Experience Years:  1-3 years             
• Experience Type:  Basic electro-mechanical assembly
• OR Equivalent combination of education and experience

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Manual dexterity

WORK ENVIRONMENT:  Manufacturing Floor Based

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

• Able to sit at work station/microscope 8+ hours per day
