Position Summary

To assemble finished product according to customer specification and company policies.

Essential Job Functions and Accountabilities

• Ability to use various assembly line equipment and basic hand tools.
• Ability to receive order tickets from material handler and load materials to the line
• Ability to perform general machine change overs or adjust variances
• Must be capable of operating all sub-assembly, final assembly and other specialty equipment.
• Ability to use pneumatic tools
• Capable of using various two hand trip machines to finish pieces through hand assembly based on customer pre-determined specifications
• Packaging of materials with proper labeling to be shipped
• Meet daily quotas for the different functions in all assembly areas.
• Ensure quality checks are performed and documented
• Perform daily safety checks and document
• Cooperative attitude toward co-workers and supervisors
• Perform job duties in a safe manner
• Maintains workstation in neat and clean condition.
• Perform all required quality checks and report any defects to QC
• Cooperative attitude toward co-workers and supervisors

• Assists other workers with specific tasks as requested.
• Inform Supervisor of any issues with operation, safety or quality
• Must wear proper PPE at all times and conform to all safety rules and regulations

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Must have good small dexterity skills
• Must have general math skills;
• Able to read blue prints
• Legible handwriting
• Must be able to read and write English
• Must be able to lift minimal of 40 pounds frequently
