Job Overview:

Responsibilities

  • Prepare work by reviewing assembly instructions, blueprints, and parts lists; gathering necessary parts, tools, and materials.
  • Position parts and subassemblies using templates and measurement tools.
  • Assemble components by ensuring proper fit and securing parts and subassemblies.
  • Verify specifications by measuring completed components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues; communicate with supervision as needed.
  • Maintain equipment by performing preventive maintenance and addressing minor malfunctions.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure necessary supplies are available.
  • Use materials and equipment efficiently to minimize waste.
  • Complete required production and quality documentation.
  • Support team objectives and assist in other areas as needed.
  • Adhere to all workplace safety standards and guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and coordinate across departments.
  • Ability to follow instructions and execute tasks efficiently.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Good hand and finger dexterity.
  • Basic knowledge of blueprint reading and torque specifications.
  • Experience working in a technical or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong basic math skills.
  • Experience with electrical or mechanical assembly is a plus.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
