Responsibilities and Duties
Master the use of hand and power tools
Work may require extensive periods of standing, bending, stretching, lifting, and reaching.
Be proficient in welding processes necessary for SCI manufacturing; read electrical prints & layouts, read piping prints (two-lined & isometric); read mechanical prints; read and understand suppliers’ instructions
Employees use initiative in conducting recurring assignments to fabricate and assemble products by using drawings, sketches, and verbal direction
Must be proficient in some forms of process and tack welding; basic electrical skills including layout and mount conduit and pull & terminate wire; layout, cut & thread, and mount piping systems; set and align motors, pumps, other mechanical components etc.; lay out, set, level & align furnace drive systems.
Employees will be required to use overhead cranes and fork trucks to set up and/or move equipment. Will assist in loading and unloading equipment Perform jobsite installations as part of a field team and as a team leader
