Workhorse Group Inc. is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of all-electric, medium-duty work trucks for last-mile delivery. Workhorse trucks are built in USA at the company's recently-renovated Workhorse Ranch, a world-class 410,000 sq. ft. manufacturing complex in Union City, Indiana. 

We are currently seeking Assemblers to perform Electric Vehicle Assembly for our plant in Union City, IN. This is a first shift position, reporting to a Production Supervisor, and may require occasional over-time.

Responsibilities include:

• Using power tools and hand tools.
• Using specialty fixtures/tooling and torque tools.
• Developing an understanding of the production process and work with the team to continuously improve.
• Performing non-production tasks, such as part rework, repair, general housekeeping, plant maintenance, etc.
• Always working with a safety-first mentality.
• Positive attitude, good attendance and willingness to learn.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical ability/aptitude.
• Must be able to read/understand/follow written and verbal work instruction.
• Dependable and reliable.
• Quick learner.
• Must be a team player.
• Must be able to stand 10 hours per day.
• Must be able lift up to 35 pounds.
• Frequent bending and walking also required.
