In this hands-on role, you'll help build critical mechanical components and assemblies used in oil and gas applications, ensuring products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.

What You'll Do

As an Assembler, you'll play a vital role in the manufacturing process by:

  • Assembling mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products according to blueprints, work instructions, and engineering specifications

  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and torque specifications

  • Operating light semi-automatic equipment for grinding, sanding, drilling, and gasket cutting

  • Assisting with pneumatic and hydrostatic pressure testing activities according to established procedures

  • Building final assemblies that meet detailed engineering drawings and production requirements

  • Performing in-process inspections to verify quality standards and customer specifications

  • Ensuring assembled products function as intended and meet performance expectations

  • Maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment

  • Collaborating with team members to support training, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement efforts

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 0-3+ years of assembly experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or oil and gas environment

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

  • Ability to accurately manage part numbers, quantities, measurements, and production documentation

  • Reliable transportation to and from work

  • Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety shoes, eye protection, hearing protection, and hand protection

  • Ability to comply with shop floor safety requirements, including no jewelry policies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with high-pressure components, valves, fittings, or similar industrial equipment

  • Familiarity with torque procedures, sealing methods, and precision tolerances

  • Understanding of quality systems and safety standards within oil and gas or heavy industrial manufacturing environments

  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently while maintaining production goals

Pay Details:$17.50 per hour
