Job Overview:

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Assembly Line Associate to join our production team. This position plays a key role in building quality products by performing various assembly tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is motivated, safety-minded, able to work as part of a team, and comfortable working in a physically demanding environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform assembly tasks according to work instructions and quality standards.
  • Use hand tools and basic equipment to complete production requirements.
  • Install components, hardware, and materials as needed throughout the assembly process.
  • Inspect work for accuracy, quality, and completeness.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production needs or concerns.
  • Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.
  • Assist other departments or production areas as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous manufacturing, assembly, construction, or hands-on experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Must be comfortable standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
  • Must be willing and able to work in varying temperatures, including heat.
  • Strong work ethic with good attendance and reliability.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work well with a team.
  • Must be safety-focused and quality-driven.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull materials as required.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and temperature changes.
  • Ability to wear required PPE.

Job Summary: Assembly team members are responsible for assembling quality trailer with outstanding service in a safe manner and must be able to manufacture in a fast paced, team-oriented environment while maintaining a clean and organized work area.

 Essential Functions:

  • Ensure your own safety by always using designated personal protective equipment (PPE) and tools designed and rated for the task, complying with safety regulations and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Report to work on time to support production startup and throughput goals.
  • Operate all power tools and machinery on the assembly line effectively and respectfully.
  • Read and understand work orders and work instructions.
  • Perform quality checks and product inspections by completing final inspection sheets, as directed by assigned production supervisor. 
  • Perform daily inspections on equipment prior to shift startup to ensure the safety of you and your coworkers, as well as the operational effectiveness of equipment. 
  • Axle, wire, deck, and inspect trailers, as assigned by production supervisor.
  • Assist in other areas and perform other duties, as needed.  (This is not intended to be a comprehensive list of activities, duties, or responsibilities required for this job.)

 Qualifications and Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED, or equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities in directly job-related experiences. 
  • Possess good physical stamina and coordination with the ability to safely lift 80 pounds with prolonged periods of standing.
  • Able to work 10 hour shifts with potential overtime.
  • Willing to submit a pre-employment background check.
  • Able to work in a self-directed way to manage multiple demands of time and attention in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
