Chipton-Ross is seeking 40 Assemblers C for a contract opportunity in North Charleston, SC.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

7 years or more experience in aviation/aerospace.

7 or more years' experience using software applications for internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite and/or other specialized computer applications.

7 or more years' experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading, and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications, in English.

7 or more years' experience in a technical or mechanical field performing work with basic hand, power and/or pneumatic (air) tools.

7 or more years' experience with hydraulic and pneumatic system design.Regular and predictable attendance is required.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs COMPLEX production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual or automated assembly tools.

Top 3-5 Technical/Software Skills needed to perform this role/job:Install various parts and assemblies such as landing gear, aircraft control surfaces, exterior panels, carpets, blankets, roller trays/ball mats, stowbins, sidewalls, ceiling panels, lavatories, galleys, doors, and seats.Install various aircraft system components such as tubing, valves, regulators, actuators, compressors, and ducts.Use various hand tools and diagnostic equipment such as screwdrivers, ratchets, power screwdriver multi meters, continuity testers.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to meet physical demands of the role such as: flexion/extension (head bent down, head bent back), handling, kneeling, bending at the waist, reaching (overhead), rotation of head/neck, standing, twisting at the waist and walking, climbing/balancing (stairs, ladders, poles, scaffolding, inclined surfaces), crawling, crouching (squatting).Carry/Lift up to 35 pounds.Ability to work with High Hazard Chemicals.REQUIRED EDUCATION:Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).

WORK HOURS:MUST BE OPEN TO WORKING 1st, 2nd or 3rd SHIFT. Shift dependent on business need.
