We are seeking skilled Machine Builders to support the assembly of industrial automated machinery to precise engineering specifications. This is a hands-on, high-impact role ideal for experienced machine builders, as well as mechanically inclined professionals with a background in maintenance or mechanical assembly who are looking to grow into advanced machine-building roles.
Assemble machines and subassemblies using hand and power tools
Read and interpret detailed mechanical and engineering drawings, diagrams, and shop orders
Build frame assemblies, drive mechanisms, motors, shafts, drums, bearings, pneumatics, sensors, and guarding
Perform operational testing, mechanical adjustments, and final inspection to ensure machines meet performance standards and tolerances
Safely rig, lift, and position heavy components using cranes and forklifts
Maintain clean and orderly workstations; assist with shipping/receiving and daily tool maintenance
Recommend process improvements to increase assembly efficiency and quality
3–5+ years of experience in machine building or industrial mechanical assembly (maintenance or service tech backgrounds also considered)
Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical blueprints
Experience assembling complex automated machinery and mechanical systems
Skilled with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, pi tapes, etc.)
Comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment
Crane rigging and forklift experience (certifications preferred)
Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Office, and ERP systems
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to stand for extended periods, frequently walk, and lift up to 100 lbs as needed
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: $25 – $32 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm (Preferred: 5:00am–4:30pm with half-day Saturdays)
Overtime: Up to 20 hours/week available and preferred
