LMT Defense needs your help moving our company forward in the defense industry. We are looking to fill multiple assembly positions on 2nd shift.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Availability to work 2nd shift (3pm-11:15pm).
  • Required: High School/GED diploma or vocational school equivalent.
  • Communicate with the supervisor, set up operators, and quality department to ensure common understanding of immediate issues affecting output and quality.
  • Produce parts as instructed by supervisor.
  • Provide justification and corrective action on all issues pertaining to poor quality.
  • Produce Quality parts.
  • Basic hand tool knowledge.
  • Follow company procedures and policies.
  • Meet time standards established for all assigned production.
  • Alert any supervisor to any unsafe condition.
  • Adequate control, protection, and use of the assets of the company.
  • Any other duties requested by the supervisor.
  • 1+ year(s) experience preferred but is not required. Firearm handling experience is a plus.
  • Must sign and abide by the Company's employee manual and confidentiality agreement.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a background check, job physical, and drug screen.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Good written and verbal communications skills.
  • Excellent visual perception to ensure fine detail quality inspection.
  • Full physical capability to sit, stand, walk, climb, reach, bend and maneuver around equipment and job stations. This position is primarily standing at a workbench most of the day. Must be able to lift and position components that weigh up to 35 pounds. Must be able to physically tolerate contact (hands) with coolants and cutting oils.
  • Ability to follow work instructions.
  • Ability to read and interpret production drawings.
  • Must be able to adhere to quality assurance standards.
  • Keep accurate records by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Document actions by completing production and quality logs.
  • Keep workstation and equipment clean.
  • Desire to learn.
