Traveling Mechanical & Electrical Assembler Opportunities Across the United States – FlexTrades

We send our employees on 3- or 6-month contracts at various manufacturing companies nationwide throughout the year. You can choose how many assignments you take per year, and you're free to come and go as you like, as long as you successfully complete the contracts you commit to.

FlexTrades is hiring experienced Mechanical and Electrical Assemblers for upcoming manufacturing projects across industries such as aerospace, medical device manufacturing, automation, industrial equipment, HVAC, and electronics manufacturing. All work is performed in indoor production environments.

Pay and Schedule

• $28–32 per hour (depending on contract)
• 50+ hours per week
• Overtime paid at time and a half

Travel and Benefits

• Paid travel to and from the project
• Paid lodging (single-occupancy hotel room)
• $45 per day per diem
• Full benefits package available
• Employees are allowed to bring spouse, family, or pets
• **This role is NOT in Dallas, Texas; we are using a city/state to reach people who live in this area and because our system requires us to pick a city/state. **

Job Title: Traveling Mechanical or Electrical Assembler

This role is best suited for assemblers who are comfortable working in fast-paced, production-driven manufacturing environments with consistent hours.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions
• Assemble mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical components to specification
• Install hardware, wiring, tubing, and subassemblies
• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and testing equipment
• Meet production and daily output requirements
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet customer specifications
• Troubleshoot minor assembly issues and identify defects
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

Qualifications

• Manufacturing assembly experience required
• Mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, or electromechanical assembly experience
• Ability to read blueprints, assembly drawings, or wiring schematics
• Experience using common hand and power tools
• Ability to follow work instructions and quality standards
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship
• Comfortable working in a production environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (assistance available if needed)
