Performs one or more assembly or subassembly operations to mass produce products such as pressure fryers, ventless fryers, pressure smokers, broilers, filters, accessory items, and related foodservice equipment into a finished product.
*Pay range will be $16-$18 per hour. Schedule is 6am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
•
Bolts, clips, screws, cement, or otherwise fasten parts and subassemblies together by hand, or using hand or portable tools.
•
Uses equipment such as arbor press, drill press, riveting machine, or tube flarer.
•
Frequently files, saws, deburrs, and drills parts using hand or power tools.
•
Aligns parts with jigs, fixtures, or templates.
•
Makes final electrical checks, hydrostatic tests, assembly checks and fills out necessary paperwork and test sheets.
•
Loads equipment on skids and moves to shipping department for packing and crating.
•
Crates small product lines.
•
All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
•
Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
•
Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
•
Must have good basic math skills.
•
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools and assembly functions.
•
Able to understand blueprints and use basic measuring instruments.
•
Able to read wiring schematics.
•
Previous Forklift experience is a plus.
•
General Education Diploma.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
•
Must be able to lift/carry 50 lbs without assistance.
•
Must be able to sit and/or stand for up to 5 hours at a time.
•
Must be able to bend, squat, reach, push, pull, climb and walk.
•
Standing, walking, sitting, and bending for extended periods of time.
