Location: Ashland, VA

Pay: $20.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team in Ashland, VA. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with both power and hand tools, reading diagrams and assembly instructions, and performing accurate measurements. This position requires the ability to lift materials and components weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products and components according to diagrams, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret assembly diagrams and specifications.
• Measure materials accurately using rulers and other measuring devices.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations to ensure precision and quality.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams and assembly instructions.
• Strong math and measurement skills.
• Ability to accurately use a ruler and measuring tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail.
