Responsibilities
- Assemble a variety of products using engineering blueprints and schematic drawings
- Ensure accurate alignment and proper operation of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic parts
- Examine connections for correct fit and fasten parts and subassemblies
- Verify specifications by measuring completed components
- Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications
- Perform mechanical inspections using torque wrenches, screwdrivers, and tape measures
- Document actions by completing production and quality forms
- Conduct final assembly of label applicator equipment
- Package and ship equipment
- Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock levels, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders, and verifying receipt of supplies
Shift Hours: Monday – Friday, 6am – 2:30 pm
Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Wiring knowledge and ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and schematics
- Mechanical and technical skills
- Proficiency in operating hand and power tools
- Good computer skills, including emailing, record keeping, ordering, inventory management, and form filling
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Attention to detail and precision in assembly work
- Problem-solving skills to address assembly issues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic math skills for measurements and inventory management
