Positions Available: Electrical Assembler, Mechanical Assembler, and Electro-Mechanical Assembler
Note: While this job description outlines the responsibilities and qualifications for an Assembler, CMD is considering candidates for Electrical Assembler, Mechanical Assembler, and Electro-Mechanical Assembler roles; final placement will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, demonstrated skills, and relevant technical background.
Shifts and Shift Differentials: CMD currently has openings on the following shifts: 2nd shift (Monday through Thursday, 2:25 PM – 12:55 AM) and 3rd shift (Monday through Thursday, 9:30 PM – 8:00 AM). 2nd Shift Differential is $2.50/hour. 3rd Shift Differential is $4.00/hour.
Pay: CMD is hiring skilled assemblers across multiple disciplines: Mechanical Assemblers start at $23.24/hour, Electrical Assemblers start at $24.65/hour, and Electro-Mechanical Assemblers start at $25.93/hour, with opportunities for higher pay based on your qualifications. Compensation is determined by your ability, experience, education, certifications/licensure, and overall skill set.
Position Summary: The employee interprets engineering drawings to assemble, rebuild, and repair electrical and mechanical components of machinery for CMD products. Sets up and operates a variety of power tools (such as drill press, band saw, and stud welder) and uses a variety of hand tools. In this role, the employee collaborates with engineering personnel to make necessary changes and update print packages.
