Starting at $18.00 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable Assembler I to support production and shipping operations. This position plays a key role in assembling crates and pallets, packaging components, and ensuring products are prepared accurately and safely for shipment. Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality and safety are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and schematics

• Assemble crates and pallets using hand tools and power tools

• Package components to ensure protection during transportation

• Build crates and pallets for skids, carts, and other products

• Modify or repair crates and pallets as needed

• Conduct inspections to verify quality and accuracy

• Report discrepancies, defects, or safety concerns promptly

• Pull and organize parts for shipment

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification required)

• Assist with inventory counts

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals

• Follow all safety policies and procedures

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous assembly or packaging experience preferred

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions

• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools

• Strong attention to detail and quality standards

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Commitment to maintaining a safe workplace

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to talk, listen, and use hands to handle tools and materials

• Frequently required to stand, walk, and reach

• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

• Must be able to safely operate a forklift and maintain required certifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English
