Rogers Group is seeking an Asphalt Milling Heavy Equipment Operator to support our construction operations based out of Greer, South Carolina. This position is responsible for operating milling machines and related heavy equipment to remove asphalt pavement and prepare surfaces for paving. The ideal candidate will have prior milling or asphalt experience and an uncompromising commitment to jobsite safety.

- Pay: Starting pay dependent on experience
- Schedule: Shifts may vary due to workload (days, nights, weekends, and overtime as required)
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate asphalt milling machines and associated heavy equipment under varying jobsite conditions
- Operate broom, skid steer, and other support equipment to clean and prep milled surfaces
- Perform daily pre- and post-operation inspections, maintenance, greasing, and cleaning of equipment
- Assist with general labor tasks around the mill and jobsite as needed
- Communicate clearly with crew members to ensure efficient and safe operations
- Maintain a strong focus on safety for all personnel working around equipment
- Prepare milled surfaces to ensure readiness for paving operations
- Follow all company policies, OSHA/MSHA regulations, and supervisor instructions
- Work as part of a team to meet production, quality, and safety expectations
