What You'll Do

• Build and refine high-quality 2D game assets including characters, backgrounds, UI elements, and animations.
• Use Photoshop to develop polished, production-ready artwork customized for mobile and web platforms.
• Integrate and manage Spine skeletal animations, ensuring smooth and performant character rigs.
• Use Texture Packer to efficiently pack and optimize sprite sheets for game use.
• Configure and refine text styles using the Pixi.js Text Style Editor to guarantee visual consistency across game UI.
• Build and implement particle effects using the Pixi.js Particles Editor to improve visual feedback and game feel.
• Collaborate closely with developers and designers to ensure assets meet technical and creative requirements.
• Maintain and follow art pipelines and naming conventions across projects.
• Engage in art reviews and support the ongoing advancement of the visual standards of our games.
• Troubleshoot and resolve art-related issues across different devices and screen resolutions.

What We're Looking For

• At least 3 years of proven experience as a Game Artist in mobile or web game development.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for crafting and editing 2D game assets.
• Hands-on experience with Spine animation software for skeletal 2D animation.
• Experience using Texture Packer for sprite sheet creation and optimization.
• Experience using the Pixi.js Text Style Editor for configuring in-game typography.
• Experience with the Pixi.js Particles Editor for crafting visual particle effects.
• Solid knowledge of art optimization methods for mobile and web platforms.
• Experience using the Pixi.js framework within a game development environment.
• Knowledge of animation principles and experience animating game characters or UI.
• Experience working in an agile methodology with the Scrum framework.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating game art across multiple shipped titles.
