APQP COORDINATOR

JOB SUMMARY:

TH Plastics, Inc., a custom injection molder serving the appliance and automotive industries, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual for the following position in our Mendon, Michigan molding division.

JOB OVERVIEW: Establish and maintain PPAP/APQP core tools (PPAP, FMEA, MSA Control Plans, Process flow chart, capability study, gauge R&R along with document control).

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED
• 5 years’ experience with manufacturing and production processes and engineering principles
• Must be self-motivated, strong attention to detail, work well independently and have excellent time management skills
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills to work with all members of the team
• Familiar with IQMS
• Knowledge of technical aspects of manufacturing and engineering
• Knowledge and understanding of quality control standards and government compliance

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with document control
• Create control plans, process flows and PFMEA
• Track deviations
• Submit first piece and PPAP sample documents to customer for production approval
• Verify SAP and blanket PO’s are current and match approved revision
• Establish and maintain PPAP/APQP core tools
• Responsible for setting up meetings to create and develop control plans, process flows and PFME
• Serve as liaison between our company’s project engineering and customers to identify production approval issues and come up with solutions
