Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and fabrication processes.
Operate various tools and machinery, including shears, brakes, and welders, to shape and assemble sheet metal components.
Measure and cut metal sheets to specified dimensions with accuracy.
Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards and customer specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to meet production deadlines.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any fabrication issues that may arise during the production process.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in metal fabrication or related field is a plus.
Proven experience as a sheet metal fabricator or similar role.
Strong understanding of metal properties and fabrication techniques.
Proficient in the use of hand tools and machinery related to sheet metal work.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing environment.
