POSITION TITLE: Applicator Assembler A EFFECTIVE DATE: October 2024

POSITION SUMMARY:
Build new and repair existing nozzles, guns, test and package 615 applicators.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build new and repair existing nozzles, guns, test and package 615 applicators
- Work with sales personnel and customers to analyze needs, run tests, provide and maintain cost estimates to repair or replace faulty FE71/FE81 parts, recommend changes, meet ship dates and maintain customer order requirements
- Assemble and repair FE71/FE81 parts from work orders, receivers, applicator records, and written and verbal instructions
- Pull and check parts, components and materials as required
- Maintain accurate inventory counts within the applicator department cell and electronic inventory system
- Size, drill, fit braze, shape, sand and test nozzles using drilling brazing, other power and hand tools, set up equipment, check dimensions with scale and micrometer for adherence to specifications
- Drill, lubricate and assemble guns, follow prescribed sequence and fit and fasten housings, nozzles, pistons, other gun parts, install gauging and other components and parts in the assembly of guns control according to type of applications and customer requirements
- Test for proper operation, cycles, pressures and other functions
- Provide shipping and receiving, services as directed
- Exercise proper care in the use of tools, equipment and material, maintain records of work, parts used, changes, and sign off. Detect and report faulty equipment, defective material and unusual conditions to supervisor
- Commit to following the Quality Policy established procedures and guidelines as required by the current ISO 9001 standards. Seek opportunities for continuous process improvement as a commitment to the Quality Policy
- Adhere to prescribed safety rules and regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned or directed
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of basic assembly, hand brazing (open flame) and electrical wiring
- Minimum of 1 year shop environment experience.
- Ability to use gauges, measuring equipment, and basic shop equipment such as grinders, drill press and sanders
- Ability to occasionally lift parts weighing up to 30 pounds
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal communication skills
