swissQprint, a global leader in high-precision UV LED flatbed and roll-to-roll printing technology, is seeking an Application Specialist to join our expanding team. In this role, you will serve as a trusted technical expert providing customer training and demonstrations, troubleshooting, sample production, and material testing on swissQprint printers. Our clients rely on your expertise and professionalism to ensure optimal performance and exceptional results.

**Key Responsibilities:

**

  • Deliver hands-on operator training across the U.S. and Canada.

  • Provide technical sales support for the Sales team as required to help advance deals.

  • Demonstrate an expertise in swissQprint printers and operating systems

  • Provide expert support via phone, email, and remote tools.

  • Conduct material testing and sample printing for customer qualification.

  • Conduct printer demonstrations to showcase swissQprint capabilities.

  • Maintain demo equipment and support trade shows.

  • Administrative tasks as required to support application processes and reporting.

  • Maintaining a well-organized and clean working environment both at office and client.

  • Continual learning and personal development to establish and maintain technical qualifications.

**Hours / Travel:

**

This full-time role is based in West Dundee, Il (Chicago region) and will require regular travel ranging from approximately 10% to 30% of the time. Employee will be responsible to make their own travel arrangements and may retain any earned travel points or benefits.

**Preferred Qualifications:

**

  • Knowledge of prepress operations including relevant software, such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, or similar.

  • Understanding of RIP software and processes.

  • Experience in print production

  • Good oral and written communication skills; ability to deal effectively with customers.

  • Team player

  • Must live close to our facilities or be willing and able to relocate.

  • Must possess a valid driver's license.

  • Must be able to travel to Canada

  • Strong general computing skills; Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams
