Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues with appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ovens.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on various household appliances.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about repairs needed and costs involved.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest appliance technologies and repair techniques.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Manage inventory of tools and replacement parts effectively.
• Assist in training junior technicians as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in appliance repair is a plus.
• Proven experience as an appliance repair technician or similar role.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Physical ability to lift heavy appliances and perform manual tasks.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in appliance repair.

This is a field role: the work happens at customer and job sites rather than at a single worksite, and you will be based within driving distance of the job location. Expect day trips to job sites, with most nights at home.
