Position Summary

While working as an Apparel Decoration Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining Direct-to-Film heat press equipment to create high-quality branded products. This role involves setting up the machine, preparing materials, monitoring the production process, and ensuring the finished product meets quality standards.

Requirements

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machines according to specifications, load and unload materials, and  adjust settings as needed.
• Monitor the production process to ensure high-quality output, inspect finished products for accuracy, completeness, and defects, and make necessary adjustments to correct any issues.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines, troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues, and report major machine problems to the supervisor for repair.
• Work closely with the design team to ensure the correct implementation of designs and collaborate with other production team members to meet production deadlines.

Requirements

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• 2+ years of experience operating and machines
• Familiarity with different types of fabrics and decoration methods

Computer Skills

• Basic computer skills for inputting data

Other Qualifications

• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to write effective correspondence to customers and coworkers
• Vision abilities required by this job include being able to see clearly at 20 inches or less, distinguish colors, and adjust focus
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve minor technical issues
