Job Title: Apartment Maintenance Technician II

Location: Sacramento, CA

Pay Rate: $22 – $26/hour DOE

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our property management team in Sacramento. This position plays a key role in keeping our apartment community safe, functional, and well-maintained for residents.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on apartment units, common areas, and building systems

• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance issues

• Complete work orders efficiently and provide excellent customer service to residents

• Assist with apartment turns, including painting, cleaning, and repairs

• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed (on-call rotation may apply)

• Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in good working condition

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in multifamily housing or property management

• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance

• EPA HVAC certification preferred (but not required)

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, with some OT including weekends / on-call
