Apartment Maintenance Technician Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician for a growing property management group in Grand Rapids, MI. This role is responsible for ensuring the property’s buildings, grounds, and equipment are well-maintained and in excellent working order. The ideal candidate is experienced in general repairs, preventative maintenance, and responding to tenant service requests efficiently and professionally.

Apartment Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing fixtures, electrical, carpentry, and general building systems
• Complete service requests from tenants promptly and effectively
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize unexpected breakdowns
• Maintain inventory of supplies and coordinate orders as necessary
• Work collaboratively with the property management team to ensure a high standard of living for residents
• Grounds work, snow-shoveling, and general support to the team

Schedule: 1st shift, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday

Pay: $18.00/hr with additional incentives upon hire-in

Apartment Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

• 1-3 Years of experience in apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, construction or a similar role
• Ability to use power tools and basic tools
• Must have your own vehicle, a valid driver's license, and a basic set of hand tools
• Willingness to work outdoors and indoors and in all kinds of weather conditions
• Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds frequently
