Lead and execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance projects.
Mentor and guide junior mechanics.
Conduct complex diagnostics and repairs.
Ensure all maintenance activities are documented and compliant with standards.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
Promote and enforce safety protocols.
Qualifications You Must Have:
High school diploma or equivalent.
3+ years of relevant experience.
Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
Active, current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification with no prior FAA violations.
Must have reliable transportation to and from work locations.
Ability to understand and interpret applicable technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications.
Advanced skills in repairing, maintaining and/or troubleshooting aircraft airframes and engines.
Ability to deploy for an extended amount of time to various OCONUS operating locations.
Ability to meet current DoD and Combatant Command requirements for deployed locations.
Successfully pass a pre-deployment medical assessment
Ability to deploy for a minimum of 90 days to OCONUS operating location.
Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays and shift schedules as required.
Work 6 days M-Sat, 12 hours days - 1st shift (72 hours)
Willing to deploy OCONUS on an approximate 90/90 rotation.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Associate's degree in Aviation Maintenance or related field.
Extensive experience with specific aircraft models.
Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills.
FAA repair station and/or Quality Assurance experience.
Able to travel on a regular basis and/or work different shifts including overtime and weekends.
Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation/Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (FAR/DFARS).
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense, or US Military.
