AOI Operator

• Must have inactive or active certs.- The ideal candidate will have active certs in both IPC 610 and J. Std. 001.

  • Then, the next ideal candidate will have a mix of active and/or inactive certs for IPC 610 or J. Std. 001. Preferably, IPC 610 and J. Std. 001 experience/certified.

  • Active or inactive certs in either/or J. Std. 001 and/or IPC 610 (therefore just one of the certs) is the 3rd

    tier of candidate of preference.- Training will be required for anyone who has inactive certs or is missing a cert in one of the standards (J. Std. 001 or IPC). The process to train someone with an inactive cert is much faster than training someone up without the cert at all.

• Will be performing the final operations at the end of the SMT line – AOI (Automated Optical Inspection). This is real time inspection of boards through the use of automated (computer) inspections in 3D format.- Will be assisting SMT Operators and other technicians when available – be an SMT Backup Operator! Must be prepared for this as well.

• Product: Class 2 and 3 boards with a large range of components (5 - 5,000 parts).

• MUST have Class 2 PCBs understanding at a minimum, Class 3 experience is highly preferred because our FTEs are still training up to Class 3 levels! Can’t take all Class 2.

$45 Per diem
